How your ear pinning procedure will be carried out
Ear pinning is a minor operation, which nevertheless needs to be performed with care. Usually, a local anaesthetic is sufficient to remodel the cartilage to the desired shape, although you can also choose to be operated under general anaesthetic. The scar left by your or your child's ear pinning surgery is small and concealed discretely behind the outer ear.
